We will soon be adding reviews to the listed wine bars below.  Most of the bars on the list are located in Dallas Texas and are separated by location in the area.  At the end of the page we list wine bars we have visited within other cities within Texas.   If I have missed a great spot for wine please let me know and we will add it to the list.  Our goal is to visit each one and report back to you pictures and reviews of the menu and wine listings.

 Mercy Wine Bar

http://www.mercywinebar.com/

My wife and I have visited Mercy a couple of times, once for a birthday party and another for a relaxing night out.  Mercy is tucked away within the plethora of shops on the corner of Belt line and Montfort, just along the Dallas North tollway.  This bar and restaurant has a unique romantic ambiance; dimly lit, live jazz(on Saturdays) and small alcove or table setting for those night where you want to be intimate with you loved one.  Or you can have large gathering with family and friends, sample the many flights of wine they offer with gourmet food.  Large couches are also available on nights they offer jazz, to relax, sit back, and enjoy the music.  The wait staff is very knowledgeable and will help you with the extensive wine menu or pairings if needed.  The price range is mid to higher priced.

Cru – Plano and Allen locations too

http://cruawinebar.com/

Cru is definitely a place to check out n those evenings where you just want to go chill out and enjoy a flight of wine, for a date night out.  Their flight selection is well rounded and you will definitely find one that will sure please your taste buds.  In addition to the wines they do have an impressive menu, not too high in price.  I would definitely recommend the chocolate fondue for desert.  Keep an eye out on this site and others on their weekly specials you can sign up for their newsletter which includes weekly specials and happy hours.

 Veritas

http://veritaswinedallas.com/index.php

Ahhh, Veritas…  My wife and I used to live just around the corner from Veritas, located off of Henderson just passed the Capital Pub next to the Glo Lounge.  This wine bar has definite charm, ambiance and a finish of flare.  From the waitstaff to the wine menu you will not be disappointed.  The wine menu is ever changing and evolving with the most up and coming wines.  Even though being a wine bar their beer menu is also impressive.  They don’t have a full menu but do they do have appetizers that compliment the beverage of your choice very well.  I would have to classify this place as a neighborhood wine bar, Brooks will always be there to welcome you in and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and will lead you to something you will like.  I do have to give them credit for finding us one of the best bottles of chateauneuf du pape, ever for the price!!!
